I was born on August 3, 1958. ”Your life is more than half over," you say? But it’s not…
 
When I was 23 years old, comforting our youngest daughter on the rocking chair
and listening to a program on the radio that I just “happened” to find, I heard the message that Jesus loved me so much that He died for me. He took my place on the cross. That no matter how bad I was or what I had done, if I accepted that sacrifice for me, I would be forgiven and live forever with Jesus.
 
I could hardly believe what I was hearing! Forgive me? For everything? Even
taking the life of my unborn baby when I was 15? Yes, even that. Right there, on
that rocking chair, I prayed and trusted Jesus Christ and was born again…and I will live forever with Him.
 
Three beautiful children are the pleasure of my life. Brian is the oldest, then
Lauren and Shannon. God hand-picked their covenant mates for them in answer
to this Mama’s prayers. Amanda, Chris and Ryan compliment my children.
 
The grandsons…they bring much joy of my life. Six loving, creative, busy and
quickly growing into men: Clay, Reed, Nolan, Trevor, Dylan and Parker. Baby Groff
went to be with Jesus in November, 2008. Olive Mae, the long-awaited princess
joined the family on August 10, 2009. Oh, and then there's our miracle, Alison. 
She's the one with the pink glasses in the photo, who is living proof that Jesus
heals. My China doll, Katelyn Faith was "born" into our family in 2010.
 
God is writing my story.
